I spent last week shooting for Klozet (which I have previously blogged about) in Sausalito; the store already carrying a gorgeous collection of clothes and accessories to shoot with made my job a little easier. The location of the shoot would simply determine the branding direction, co owners Christine Caria & Ko Ezzell envisioned. Surrounded by the water, the mountains, and the gorgeous homes of Mill Valley, the locations to choose from were bountiful. Wednesday we spent running around their favorite spots like The Yacht Club, Bar Bocce, and Trident; however, Thursday, for me was epic. We shot at a gorgeous home on the market, perfectly decorated and built with clean lines; each piece we shot with had a place in the home that accentuated the style of the collections carried at Klozet.
I myself can never help purchasing some statement pieces, like my entire outfit I changed into before heading out for an evening of wine and dear friends company after wrapping up. I also couldn’t resist picking out some staples from Three Dots, Sol Sonas, & Mother Denim which I am sure you will see a post about this week and weeks to come. Besides loving working with these two fashion plates, I can never get enough shopping done in their perfectly located space. I am always drawn to a boutique and one that carries brands that aren’t in every other store I walk into. And as a stylist, it is a place I feel comfortable sending my clients to, as these ladies know what is in trend and what is classic, and how to mix the two for the ultimate look.
